Mizzou's schedule has been getting attention here- first road game is Oct 18 vs Auburn.

OU haven't been road warriors either. They play the Gamecocks in Columbia Oct 18. Their only road game has been vs American Athletic Conference Temple Owls in the Philadelphia Eagles' stadium. They'll have a neutral site game vs Texas. They have no true road test until mid-Oct, similar to Missouri.

Should be interesting to see how Mateer and Pribula, two SEC-newcomer QBs, respond when they finally get into a real road environment.

Lol, that you think playing texass in dallas is a neutral site. I prefer the game at the cotton bowl due to the atmosphere, but playing texass in texass is never neutral.

That's correct. Imagine if Georgia and Alabama played at Columbus, Georgia every year. Calling it a neutral site. That's what we deal with every year.

Don't they literally split the stands 50/50? Seems about as neutral as it gets inside a stadium.

While it can't be proven that the inside of the Cotton Bowl is an advantage for the Longhorns . Switzer used to say "last I checked, the Cotton Bowl was still in the state of Texas".

Regardless though. It is a fact that some crappy Texas teams have gone into that game and upset some really good OU teams.

OU rarely wins that game as a big underdog. Probably 1996 and maybe 1982 being exceptions.

Both teams have won being underdogs with the type of spread we have this year.

Georgia and Auburn did play in Columbus, Georgia for years until the mid 50's, I think. Would love to see an SEC game scheduled in my hometown.
