What's the team looking like this year?

top 15 team, but a little thin on depth at C and PF. Have a lot of athletic length this year though. If we can stay healthy should be a top 3-5 team in league.

If Sherrell/Williamson/Onyejiaka are more than adequate we should be very good. If they are soft on defense, we may get carved up with little to no rim protection. We have a lot of length at guard that can mask problems, but we still need some kind of rim presence. From what I can gather, Oats and Adams have made it a point of emphasis this offseason to try and force turnovers on defense since we’ve consistently been one of the worst teams in the country at doing that.

I've really wondered about this. Seemed it was design to some degree since we've not really created turnovers regardless of different lineups over seasons. I never fully understood why.

Yeah, based on the comments, this seems to be the staff concern as well. Love that they seem to think Onyejiaka could contribute, but I didn't like Oats saying "we might need his rim protection" which kind of suggests the other 2 are lacking in that area. Quite easily my biggest concern with this roster.

I mean all of the bigs bring something different to the table and I think Onyejiaka is just better than both Sherrell and Williamson defensively because that's going to be his calling card.

I think Philon is gonna have an incredible year.

KenPom is full of shite. He has got a new Coach ranking and Oats wasn’t even in his top 25.
Fully healthy we are a top 10 team. This will be the best offense Oats has had. Everybody on the team except Collin and maybe Hannah can shoot

Our offense never concerns me. Whether we can keep the other team from running a layup line is sometimes a concern.
