I rarely watch full clips, but this was a solid rant by Josh.

His main point is that pollsters are overly enamored with blue blood brands (Penn State & Texas). Those brands get way too much "benefit of the doubt.” And for that, pollsters should be called out.

And this year, the Manning thing has exposed both the pollsters and sports media in a way that is seldom seen. A total annihilation of credibility for those folks.

I tried listening, but he takes 10 minutes to make a point that could probably be made in 30 seconds.

He’s not wrong but I wish he had called out the coaches poll too. It’s even worse. Not sure why he singled out the AP voters here

Notre Dame being 3-2 and at #16 is a joke.

Notre Dame is an incredibly talented, playoff caliber team.

He touched on how he’s heard comments on how OU’s ranking was hurt bc of the Mateer injury.

He said he doesn’t care if Mateer just announced that he was quitting football — it doesn’t change what the team has done.

“It’s not supposed to be a projection poll.”

Pate himself has been sucking off Sark and Texas for the last two years. Just a dude grifting large fan bases for clicks, He’s full of shite, as you’d expect a content creator like him to be.

I didn’t watch the video but the above gripe is just wrong. The AP poll is based on AP voters, who are ranking the teams in order of greatness as they see fit (supposedly). The individual voters could absolutely take into account key injuries. Where does it say they can’t?

That's the case with every single video. That's why they make videos, so they can watch themselves stand there and pontificate. It's also why I never watch videos, they are a waste of time.

That embed feature was the worst thing to happen to this website.

It's like people don't even realize that those are simply opinion polls.

Once a week these people are asked for their opinions, and they give them. That's literally all it is.
