but it takes a special kind of assholiness to rush your opponents home field

I never have cared for storming the field. I feel like the players have earned the right to play on that field, fans have not. That is for the players and coaches.

We rushed the field in Tallahassee one time back in the early 80's. They turned the sprinklers on and the cops beat the crap out of us. And when I say us, I mean the UF fans who rushed the field, not me. There were FSU fans on the field as well, but the cops didn't mess with them at all.

Some dipshit student actually rushed the field on Saturday. It did not end well for him.
And yeah I've heard the stories about UF students rushing FSU's field after that 82 game. State troopers just beating the snot of them and siccing german shepherds on them.
