And no losses at home:

Bama
Ole Miss
Vandy

With the 12 team playoff, an SEC team just needs to get to 10-2 which equates to holding serve at home and stealing 2 road wins.

Vandy still has 2 ranked teams at home and 1 on the road. Bama has 3 ranked teams at home and 1 on the road. Ole Miss has 2 ranked teams on the road but none at home.

I would be pretty surprised if at least 2 of these 3 aren’t in the final playoff field.

FL is the one team in the SEC that has a good chance to get in the playoff at 8-4 with a win in the SECCG after that. Not likely to happen but crazier things have happened.

We will not get in the SEC title game, but the playoofs are a possibility.

I'm thinking a couple of 9-3 teams make the CFP this season, hopefully both from the SEC.

Dis'shite is gonna be fun! I'll be camping out in the Grove in Orange & Blue when The Gators whip that arse in Oxford on November 15th. I'll have a rebel flag in my back pocket just in case one of those Grove babies grabs my arse.

What about teams with no SEC road losses?

We would probably make it in at 9-3 (highly doubtful to run the table though)but if we go 8-4 (6-2 in SEC) and have the tiebreaker to get in the SECCG winning the SECCG would likely get us in. As long as the Mountain West didn't have an 11-1 team we would very likely be the 5th place conference champion which gets an auto bid no matter their ranking below the top 12.

When your signature win is Long Island, you don't get to have dreams.
