NIL / portal is the great equalizer.
I think those two things have hurt the blue bloods like UGA and Bama the worst, because they’ve lost much of the incredible depth they used to have. They can;t stack 4/5 talent and make them wait until they are redshirt sophomore or juniors to see the field.
Teams like Mizzou and Ole Miss, that have strong NIL and aggressive coaches have been the great beneficiaries.

With rosters leveling out we are seeing who can maximize rosters and coach more than in the past when it was all about stacking talent and more importantly keeping talent away from others.

Oh Miss still hasn’t won shite and they’re .500 against Brian Kelly with Kiffin and 2-3 against them overall with him. What exactly is changed?

This is further proof that the SEC is down and all of those records should be asterisked.
As we know from past experience, whenever Mizzou has an above average record, it means the SEC (or SEC East) was down and that's the only explanation needed here.
