Simpson is coming on and his receivers are legit #1#2#5#17 all playmakers

I had watched the way Ty was throwing the ball the past couple of games. I didn’t really pay attention to the way Ty was handling the offense at the line pre snap until last night. He is in complete command and processing a lot of information. He looks a lot like Manning or Brady in that regard.

Compared to Stockton.
Who did throw a 38 yard TD on a busted coverage.
Other than that homie was 12/19 for 92 yards.

#2?
He's a football player who is afraid of contact and drops TD passes and getting $1.8m to do it.
He needs to sit on the bench.
I'll take Bernard, Horton, Brooks, Scott.
Diva can't sit the bench and get his nails did.

If they could just manage to find an average run game over the next few weeks, they could be a very scary offense.

Hollywood has some flaws but he’s still a playmaker. One of the most entertaining players imo

Yep, that can certainly help dull pressure for a pass heavy offense. However, over the course of the season you will have a lot of short yardage situations. The answer for converting them cannot be predominantly gadget plays and passes if they want to have a lot of success in those down and distance situations. Right now I don't think Alabama believes their run game is good enough to get those tough yards. They must find that level of trust in the run game. I don't expect them to go for 200 on the ground any weekend but they need to be trustworthy in the situational run downs.
Encouraging that they hit some 5-7 yard runs and a successful QB sneak in the game-sealing drive. They can get there if the OL and backs keep on working at it.

Julio Jones had issues with drops early in his career at Alabama. He turned out ok. I think some of them are so focused on running the route and getting open they don’t focus on actually catching the ball, they just assume they will.

You are absolutely correct! Runs lazy routes, wont block and keeps dropping balls my 10 year old makes

Meh, Kirby shut him out the entire second half. That would bother me if I was a Bama fan.

Because we rushing for 230 yards

He was very good.
Unless Mizzou has a massive pass rush, he's going to have a huge game against that secondary.
They are struggling, at best.

Stockton didn't need to throw. Georgia was running all over Bama. He did hit a heart breaker on 2nd and long after Bama got a TFL that was pretty deflating. And then 3rd and long in the 4th when Bama really needed a stop.
But Ty was on another level Saturday.

If you watch this guy's videos, he points out that Alabama went into a clock-control offense in the third quarter because they were so efficient at converting when needed.
Georgia hit some explosive plays and it got uncomfortable (like last year), but there is nothing to indicate that they couldn't have scored if needed.
The first and last drives of the half were 10-plays each, one resulting in a badly missed FG, and the last kneeling the ball.

It's a team sport and a good team better be able to have different units of the team to step up and help win the game. That's exactly what happened Saturday night. The offense carried the game in the first half. They did just enough in the second half to eat up clock, and the defense stepped up in the second half. That's football, fella.

Julio was playing with a broken wrist at the time. Dropping passes can be like the putting hips. Your hands become almost numb. It can be hard to overcome especially by someone who had a severe concussion recently. I hope he beats it soon or he'll be sitting out a lot more.
