Watching some of play by play analysis and surprised by a few things.

Lane schooled Baker. I thought this duel of great coaches would be a draw and it was not even close. You'd better lock him up because Baker is excellent.

Your QB is legit and handled the pressure much better than I expected.

You ran the ball with schemes etc much better than I expected.

Your defense, did enough to win. ( and confirmed many of our fears that this offense is so epically bad the defense is going to be wasted)

I had it 24-21 (LSU probably)so I wasn't too far off on score and was correct on my identification of the issue, can LSU score in the 20s, and that our defense would get a few pics but really the score isn't indicative of how the game wasn't really close.

It would be a great irony if you made the playoffs the year after you spent 20 million to make the playoffs by beating the team that spent 20 million in transfers to make the playoffs. I can't say as an OG football fan I don't really like that.

Anyway, best of luck to you rest of the year and Geaux Reb! ( I am not acknowledging that other mascot bullshite)

I think it's time we all acknowledged that NIL and the portal have brought true parity to the college game. Now, tell me how many of us out here expected Vandy to turn it around the way they have. And be honest: which two teams will play in Atlanta? At this point, it's never been this wide open. And I can see four or five SEC teams in the playoffs.

Solid analysis. Classy. In other words, you are too good for this board.

I’m planning to come down next year Ashe’s have some boudin balls (I’m not even sure what’s in those things).

I don't know if I have ever seen a more level headed post directed toward us from an LSU fan, or any other for that matter. Thank you. Best of luck to you as well. I think Brian Kelly is a class act guy. Hes got his flaws, but we all do. I think he's a good coach and it's just a dog eat dog era of football now. More than it's ever been because the playing field has been leveled quite a bit.

Yes, TutHill Tiger, that was a classy post you put up about another team. You don't see much of that on this board.

I don't know if I would call this a "huge" win, but it was good for Lane and team.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you Tut, but LSU is not a top-15 program this year with the issues on the offense side of the ball.

Glad you're appreciating Baker though. He is a good DC.

You'll have to wait until 27. We play in Oxford again next year.

You’d think the idiots running this conference could manage the scheduling better. Just awful.

I’ll take a home game against LSU and any other team anytime can we get it and by whatever means.

LSU was 14th in the SEC last season in points allowed per game. They gave up 24 points per game on average.

And Kelly won't. If you're saying he already did and won't do it again.

The parity is crazy when all the teams can pay players lol. It’s not just Bama for 15y when every recruit from the hood somehow had dodge chargers and range rovers lmao

Unfortunately, our issues can’t be fixed this year.

We will fire some coaches and try again next year. Both CBK and Bebe use the CEO model. People give Bebe shite but he made excellent assistant coaching and coordinator hires and stayed out of the way. Bebe took risk and won it all. CBK has made some terrible hires and decisions, and plays a ton of golf.

We can spent 200 million a year but you can’t fix stupid or stubbornness.
