Can we get some tempo on offense please. We are playing 30 something players on defense. If we can’t play 30 plus snaps on defense a game we need to reevaluate our strength and conditioning.

But please use some pace. Call the play and run it. Don’t check.

You got 2 weeks to add crossing routes shallow and deep. It’s not that hard. It’s not hard to see the QB and WRs don’t know where to be on specific plays. Way too many option routes. Where is a smash route concept? It’s not that hard. Take the snap look the safety away from the corner route. One step drop hit the back foot throw it to the corner route. If the safety doesn’t bite hit the stop route in front of the CB. If the defense adjust have the outside Wr run the post and the slot run an 8 yard out. Same timing.

Singleton you have got to scheme to get covered by a linebacker or safety. Get him on a safety run a crossing route. Get him on a linebacker run the seam.

Yes, we need to suck faster. We should fit in as many penalties and sacks into 1 game as humanly possible.

I think if we move the deck chairs to the starboard side of the titanic, we can really improve the passenger experience

So just keep doing what we are doing. Makes sense.

Everyone and their brother can see the defense checks after they dictate what we are going to do on offense

Can we choose violence? Like 80's wrestlers, go to the line with carved down razor blades? Superficial cut on the head, lots of blood. 5 wide ain't working.

I imagine the huddle is like this - QB hands on ears....21 Dive, line up, heavy box, ok guys all run post route to same area. Check again, all stop after 10 yards.

We don't need tempo because we can't run things effectively at normal speed

And you are correct. The checks by the defense just prove how terrible our scheme is

By going tempo you take away the checks by the defense

Nope we are baby soft. Only 3 players on offense play with physicality. Arnold, Damari, Frazier. Wright does at times but he’s so lost in pass protection it’s crazy. Lew can be at times but wow he got crushed this weekend

0/13 on third down sort of tempers the tempo

Any route tree might benefit from a three second pass pro.

Roll JA out.

Like I said we are playing 30 plus players on defense. We can afford to go 3 and out quickly.

But I guess we should just keep doing the same thing.

Go fast.
Go slow.

Three and out is three and out.

Our typical offense is
1 and 10: illegal procedure
1 and 15: 5 yard run
2 and 10: incomplete pass
3 and 10: sack for 6 yard loss
4 and 16: punt

I agree we need less read and more go.

I actually was commenting on the fact we have no up tempo feel to this offense. The offense is a mess and I may not be popular, but I don’t think Arnold is elite enough to play in the SEC.

With that said, I believe a percentage of the issues has to do with Feeeze’s offense because I feel I am watching a loop of the last two years. Same timing and hesitation in throwing that Thorne had. We supposedly upgraded and it looks like we are getting worse.

I’m done with it and feel Freeze has been given the time to show something more. I’m tired of his lame answers and comments in the pressers, “we are so close to turning the corner and breaking out”. The frick?

Imagine being the coach that gets to call the 3rd down play. Coach Numbnuts calls two dumbass plays on 1st and 2nd, and you are constantly left with 3rd and long. Did Freeze have a stroke when he came up with the plan to have 2 different dudes calling plays based on down? Starting to sound like Freeze is coaching for a buyout.

And you make our 3 and outs happen faster which wears our defense out faster.

Speed is not gonna help that shite offense. The only thing that will help it is a new offensive genius.

Run hurry up tempo. Snap the ball while they are trying to substitute. If they try to call a penalty on us, say no, we just assumed those players were supposed to be on the field.

That’s how it works now, right?
