1. Great win but super emotional, physical and hard fought. Really pleased with the effort.

2. Game plan offensively was great. We didn't abandon the run, which was good. Kept UGA guessing most of the night. LOOOOVED the lateral to Proctor and seeing him shedding tacklers like they were little kids. Hilarious to watch.

3. Simpson continues to grow and get more confident. Yes, he had a few throws sail on him but most of his throws were pretty and on target. So happy for him. Played a really good game.

4. Ryan Williams-makes some nice plays but there are times he's out there kind of jogging and is a terrible blocker with little to no effort. Dropped a pretty easy and pretty pass from Simpson that should've been a TD. I'm hoping the staff can light a fire under his rear end and get through to him that there are no taking plays off or not trying to block.

5. Germie Bernard proves again and again how valuable he is. Makes clutch plays over and over.

6. Offensive line-gotta give them props. I've been really down on them but they overall played well. They played with some fire in the belly and were pretty good in giving Ty time.

7. Wommack-I still don't think he's up for the job and is in totally over his head. Still way too much sloppy tackling, poor pursuit angles and we kept losing contain over and over and over. Drove me nuts.

8. Bray Hubbard played a good game. Led the team in tackles last night and forced a fumble. Defensive line played fairly well considering all the injuries and having to play guys who are still green or young. Can't do anything about it now (mid season) but we desperately need some good DT/DE types for next year.

9. The targeting call on James Smith was weak but I thought overall, it was a fairly decent officiated game.

10. UGA has a good team and it was loud as hell there. Gotta give them props for not giving up and fighting back. Still, an incredibly satisfying win for Bama.

11. Maybe the biggest challenge for the staff now is getting the team emotionally ready for Vandy and not having them sleep walk out there. Vandy is a very dangerous team (Who would ever think Vandy would be "dangerous"?) and thinking it'll be an easy win are mistaken. They'll be ready. Will our guys be ready mentally/emotionally? I hope so. Time will tell.

Gotta disagree with officiating. They missed multiple holding and PI calls, one on a critical third down that probably would have iced the game sooner.

Williams did show some toughness on a couple of catches. I was encouraged that he was trying to redeem himself.

My guess is the staff tore him a new rectum for his half hearted effort early on.

LOL at the team sleep walking into the VU game after last year. Ridiculous.

props to the thin D line, they dug in and held and got few stops when they had to have it

Areas for improvement:

Edge containment against the run

Not completely throttling back on offense late in the game

Getting Ryan back to being unstoppable

Tightening up field goal kicking (what the heck was that last kick???)

DL and the offensive playcalling in the 1H were the heroes tonight with a shoutout to Ty Simpson who had one of the best halves of football I’ve seen in sometime from a Bama QB as a passer.

Maybe the best since Brodie Croyle against Florida?

John Parker Wilson against UGA in 2008.

If RW doesn’t drop that pass Ty goes over 300 yards passing in the first half alone.

He was scary accurate given what Holly Rowe described as “one of the most intense atmospheres she’s ever experienced.”

I need to rewatch the second half to see what the changes were Kirby made, but Ty looked like he was still passing against Wisconsin in the 1H.
