Still have no idea what to expect from this team. Conventional wisdom and looking at the point spread, we probably win a tight game or lose a tight game. But I also wouldn’t be shocked if we roll them or we get our doors blown off.

One thing you can expect is to not have a game thread.

Could you imagine if everyone was starting their own threads after every play?

That’s the Scoreboard every Saturday

Yeah, the difference is that the Scoreboard gets wiped after the weekend, which isn't the case here.

Im looking at Lotzeir Brooks on slants with the safeties sitting deep to take away RW and Cuevas sliding behind the edge pressure I expect to see Kirby attack Proctor with as a safety valve.

Based on his press conference Kirby knows Ty can carve up a defense if hes allowed to set and throw.

I expect to see simulated pressure to bait him into late adjustments like we saw against FSU in a very loud environment and I dont think UGA thinks they need to sell out to stop the run so they'll try to win with pressure and confusion.

Defensively I think they test us hard on the edges and try to lean on our interior front 7 which is banged up and somewhat soft.

The right side of their OL is a big question mark for this game, so it may be difficult for them to run around the edge on that side. Pierre and Russaw will likely have an advantage in PR situations if Greene is out for UGA (I think an UGA poster on here said their RG is a TF as well?).

ETA: In terms of our running game, I'm hoping the return of Danny Lewis can help with that a bit as he's a much better blocker than Cuevas.

This is a good point.

In addition their C is Bobos son and while functional isn’t a plus level guy. That means the entire right side is potentially a problem for them.

It’ll be interesting with how effective a power runner Stockton is to see how aggressively we attempt to get after him on the edges. Whatever their limitations YTD they have the #6 FEI offense in the nation and Stockton if you get wide will run for first downs in the inside gaps.

Stockton has been functional, but he’s 12th in the SEC in rtg and only has 721 yards passing on the year. I really don’t like the idea of giving him anything as an easy escape option because while he’s limited a bit as a passer he’s tough as absolute nails as a runner.

Long story short I’d rather throw him complex simulated rushes and mush rush looks to force him to hit harder passes than go full edge rush / send the house looks because I think he’s happy to throw dump passes to the TE all day. He’s young. Take away what he feels comfortable doing and good things may follow.

The only thing I know is we will be there in our all whites and play the game. I just hope we play hard boss football.

On the one hand Bama looked good last year coming off an off week. On the other hand Bama has looked terrible on the road. But on yet another hand one of those good looking off week wins at against LSU on the road.

I have no idea what to expect really but I dont feel great.

I deeply miss joyless murder ball, but I think there is something to be said for the anticipation of a mystery.

There were times at the peak of the dynasty where the joy of winning a big game was sort of gone, and it was more relief that we didn't stumble and lose. There were other times where parts of the fanbase, myself included, would be disappointed if we didn't win by enough. For better or worse those days are gone, I'll thoroughly enjoy a victory saturday if we pull it off

Just heard on Sirius XM College Sports that Georgia's DL has zero sacks on the season.

I am more worried about Vandy. Ty is better than Gunner. I think we win by ten.

If we show up at a road game like we have the majority of the road games under the new coaching staff, nothing else matters and we’ll get run out of the place.

If we show up organized, prepared, and determined then there are a lot of matchups to like for us and I think we’ll pull out a win.
