We would have skull fricked Washington.

Georgia was the best team in the country in 2023, so yes they would have beaten Washington

Will never know. Lost one game but it was the wrong one at the wrong time.
One year later they’d have had a home playoff game.

Georgia, no question. Washington looked so soft vs Michigan.

That scheme would have been a bad matchup for Georgia. Aside from his arm talent, Penix best quality was avoiding sacks, only took 12 all season. Michigan played quarters and could generate pressure with their front 4, Georgia had nowhere near that level of pass rush and given their DB’s played man, that’s a bad combo vs 3 elite receivers and Penix’s deep ball. They’d have tried to go blitz heavy to counter, but I doubt it would have gotten home much vs that Washington scheme
Also they used single back sets with Penix under center/pistol, that’s very problematic for Georgia’s scheme as it freezes LB’s play recognition

There was only one team in all of CFb that could've beaten uga in 23, and unfortunately we had to play them.
We would've whipped Michigan
We would've whipped Michigan

This is the correct answer.

We picked a bad night to have a bad night in the SECCG. Michigan won because they held the CFP without us.
