Mike Gundy did more with less than most coaches I’ve seen. Send him to us.

He had only 2 losing seasons at OSU in 20 years. I believe he’d do well with the talent he could get at FLORIDA .

You are not wrong in what he accomplished at OSU. But, I'm not sure how much effort he has left in him in the new environment. 21 years is a lot of stress as a HC. He may be ready to grow a legendary mullet and sit on the porch with a cold beer.

I’m sure he is, I’d like to hear a conversation between him and Spurrier. They are similar as whatever is on their mind, it’s coming out.

There is more risk with Gundy than I would like if I were the Florida AD. You're expecting him to turn 180 degrees and suddenly be excellent with managing a team in a heavy NIL environment?

I'd rather get Kiffin and that seems to be the play if you believe the rumors.

Maybe, but he beat Texas 6 out of the last 10 times.

you act like the money buffet pumped into facilities, and anyone with a pulse could get in and play football, didnt help. okie st and taco tech diploma got you late shift managerial post at wendys.

okie st and taco tech are the sole reason the pac12 would not take OU and Tejas.

Not exactly a high standard considering how poorly led Texas football was during that span. I do give Gundy his props. He's a good coach. I still think he's not a good fit for Florida at the moment.

Kiffin would be a safe bet, but NIL at OSU is in shambles. If T. Boone Pickens were still around it would be a different story.

The more I consider it, Gundy at a school like Florida could be scary good.

If he would come, it would be a home run, better than Kiffin imo…

Seemed like pretty much EVERYONE beat us 6 out of 10 times 2012-2022. Not something to really hang your hat on.

Hey look everybody! I had a better than .500 record against the cripple!!!

Buy him a pair of jean shorts and he’ll fit right in with that mullet

Gundy wouldn’t adapt to NIL era with T Boone Pickens’ money and u want to hire him as next UF HC, he would do worse, his time has past, he will become a conservative news contributor

Florida could go out and hire a GM and staff like OU did, which would allow Mike to just concentrate on coaching. It has helped with BV.

It’s no secret Gundy is a great coach. Dude took 2 and 3 star players and competed for league titles.

NIL era going to get many coaches fired even when it’s not their fault.

Pickens died several years prior to NIL. His donations to athletics were primarily for facilities. It's not like there are buckets of cash still sitting around.

PAC didn’t want OU, only Texas.
