Does anyone think it's kind of slimy for BP to lobby for the Arkansas job before his boss is fired? Just seems wrong as far as loyalty goes.

I mean he has a front row seat to Pittman’s incompetence. So can’t blame him.

Anyone think he’s deliberately screwing things up to get Pittman fired?

In fairness the main reason Pittman wasn’t fired 2 years ago after only winning 4 games is because he brought Petrino in.

Like I said on our board… Petrino never lost his job on the field. He was fired so Long could tell everyone how much integrity he had.

We are probably the worst football program in the conference over the last decade. Getting the death penalty would only be mildly worse. Not really sure what you think Bobby could do to make us suffer at this point

It's what he has tried to do his whole career. Did it at Auburn too.
He's not a good enough coach to get a job off merit alone. Don't get me wrong he's better than Pittman and a gifted playcaller but no one wants to work for him and players don't want to play for him.

Say what you will about Petrino but he has done nothing but made Pitt an extra 10-15 million. If he takes over it was the plan and Pitt is ready for the lake in Hot Springs.
Todays recruiting is what Petrino needs. Fits his personality better. I hope to the big guy he is our next coach. Always have a chance with his O. We are two late game fumbles from being 4-0. If Arkansas is in that position I say dont rock the boat. We are not GA or AL.
