Terrible hire, imo. Auburn owes everything to Bruce for taking the basketball program to new heights. But it’s a program now and should be able to attract a better coach than Steven, who should have been trying to build a resume of his own as a head coach at mid-major the past few years.

Auburn should be glad cancel culture is dead. I've come to the conclusion that everyone below 25 is a dumb arse. I don't hold what they said in the past against them when they're 37.

In the interest of smoothing things over with Auburn fans, I will go on record and say I forgive Steven Pearl's 14 year old tweets due his age at the time. We all say and do stupid things in our 20s. Auburn fans continue doing it well into their 30s and 40s judging by all the podcasts and forum posts I've seen the past few days.

.......and Steven was a huge part of that success. He was the main factor in Auburn getting several of the studs we have had at Auburn..............including Johni. The staff will stay the same. There is just a different Pearl running the show.
