Just thinking about y’all this morning.

That Tiger defense has been terrific. I wouldn’t say y’all have faced a good offense yet, but y’all can’t control who you’ve played, and you’ve done what you were supposed to have done with the opponents you’ve faced.

I’m worried about the OM secondary holding up, and the front 7 getting pressure on the QB. If we can’t pressure Nuss, he’ll carve us up like he did last year. Neither team is great at running the ball, and we still haven’t seen Chambliss against a top-tier SEC defense. No QB on our roster is as hardy as Dart, and I doubt either will survive getting hit every other play. The OM OL has to play their best game Saturday.

The game could really go either way, and I will, at no point, be confident enough to talk any kind of shite. The game being in Oxford will be a factor that may be worth a few points.

How are y’all feeling?

Defense should keep us in it. Nuss looked less bothered by whatever torso injury, of course it was against an FCS team, but that makes me feel more comfortable. Hoping to see some i formation this week.

Typically with Kiffin you have to weather the storm early because his initial scripts are usually very good. the chess match between him and Baker will be a big part of this game.

I think Ole Miss will start quick, but LSU will gradually get control and win by 7 to 10 points.

Could easily be wrong.

To answer your question, but not your post.

I’m feeling the SEC is still kissing Bama Arse!

I predicted LSU’s permanent 3 opponents were going to be Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Alabama.

I predicted Alabama’s permanent 3 opponents were going to be Auburn, Tennessee, and LSU.

Now LSU’s schedule got a little softer with A&M instead of Bama.

But the SEC had to reach into the bottom of the barrel to give Bama Moo St!

How to say Vanderbilt without saying Vanderbilt!!!!!!

I had hoped that the addition of Texas and Oklahoma would reduce some of the SEC’s Bama Arse kissing. But I guess not.

I now return you to your actual thread.

I feel like Ole Miss will be held to 21–24 points.

I just don’t know if LSU will score 30 or 3.

I think LSU fans are overestimating the strength of their defense. They haven't played an opponent whose offense has a pulse. Clemson is averaging 19.8 points per game. Florida is averaging 22.

Conversely, we know our defense blows.

The game within the game everyone knows about is simple - they can't run it, and we can't stop the run. Whoever wins that one will probably win the game.

Now let’s see Lane’s numbers in the 2nd half

Lane is known to fall apart once he’s off his 1st half script and defenses make adjustments at halftime.

I wasn't trying to prove a point with my statistical analysis. Just putting some facts out there.

Lane struggled in '22 and '24 in the second half of those games.

We didn't struggle at all in '21 and '23.

Wonder where we're playing in a few days?

State is Bama's most played opponent, IIRC.

yeah because we’ve never seen great defenses here

whether or not they are on the level of some of the best units we’ve had here over the years is yet to be determined, but we’ve got a very good unit.

This feels like one that gets away from us. Could see it anywhere from a 3 point Ole Miss win to a 3 score loss.

The spread has hedge bet against your team written all over it. I'm inclined to place a large bet on LSU so I'll be happy either way, but I'm terrible at guessing how much money I could lose without it being enough to sour an unlikely win.

In '11, y'all shut down some great offenses. No doubt about that.

Has that been the case this season?
