NIL is going to make some coaching jobs that were considered highly desirable less desirable, and could potentially elevate the desirability of certain programs that were once less desirable.

Schools like Miami are made to dominate the NIL era. Miami has tons of money and can provide that South Beach lifestyle.

In the SEC, teams like UGA, Texas, Texas A&M, and Florida will always be desirable. And hell, if Vanderbilt decides they want to start investing in football, they can actually be competitive as well.

But schools like Alabama will suffer greatly from this. They don’t have the money to keep up with all of the major players in the NIL era. They need to think wisely before they get rid of their current coach because other big names may not jump at the chance to coach at Alabama like they would have in previous eras of college football.

The big 6 in the NIL era are gonna be Oregon, Miami, Michigan, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. No one else will be able to match what these teams are spending.

My point is you have the money and resources to compete in this era if you chose to sack up.

Nah, don't think Miami really has that much money and their boosters all live elsewhere. It's a small private school that during the transition from tough coal miner kids from Pennsylvania got usurped by kids within 150 miles of Coral Gables.

The Northwesterns, Stanfords, and similar schools could do it IF they wanted to.

There's a reason why LeBron, Shaq, Messi sign up for Miami. Dolphins always kill it in free agency (tyreek, suh, etc) and Brady wanted to go there too.

Canes are going to be one of the main powers in the nil era due to their location

Miami has no money just like USC has no money. None of the alumni care about the football programs and they are saturated markets for football.

Completely ignorant. Alabama has more NIL than you think. It’s not at the top but it’s certainly better than Florida and Miami. I would say it’s even with UGA. OP is dumb. Is that you Darryl from Georgia?

Totally agree! Thanks to you, I now see how Harvard, Yale, Princetown, Dartmouth, and other Ivy League schools will be dominating the college football scene in the not too distant future!

Oregon and A&M have had money forever and won exactly squat from it.

A&M ushered in the NIL era, bought one of the best classes ever and won exactly squat from it.
