Overwhelming amount of information. Let me digest it and get back with you.

I’m guessing you lost money on that last field goal

I hate James Franklin but he cracked me up when he said he keeps up with the spreads. And if he’s in a position to screw over the people that bet on them not to cover, he will do it

He's probably gambling his balls in a co-ed's mouth right now. It's Ole Miss, they don't care.

Line was 7.5 Ole Miss. We were up 10 then let Kentucky drive down the field easily the last drive to get a field goal with 30 seconds left. Kiffin said “sorry to all the gamblers on that last drive” in the post game interview

I like Lane, but no Coach should even insinuate that they know what the bedding line is on their own game. Period.

There’s more wrong with that than being in poor taste.

He’s likely betting on the odds he becomes the next Gaytors coach.

I'd be willing to bet that every single coach in the country knows what the line is going into their games. Given how half the games now are basically sponsored by sports books, I'd be shocked if the line wasn't somewhere on the injury reports / depth charts handed out by the coaches

Agreed. I don't know about a fine, but he definitely shouldn't be doing that.

Hell, you can bet on anything about a football game. Over and under on how many times the Ref farts. How could a HC avoid knowing what the line is?

You can go to jail for points shaving. It’s really not a good idea for a head football coach to joke about the betting lines.

Ah yes, better for HCs knowing lines to be kept like some State secret...

Not only that….every single pregame show tells the spread of the games they’re talking about. If he watched Gameday at all, it would have shown on the ticker.

Some of you have lost all ability of logical thought.

He's joked about it before. But youre the kind of person that likes taking the fun out of football. Stop being a dick.

Actually, the coaches, players, and refs betting on games are the ones taking the fun out of football.

Ole Miss fired 3 equipment managers over the summer for this so they keep a watch on those things.
