I thought the mighty Alabammuh allegedly had more resources than anyone to put into the only collegiate sport that matters…
Looks like they don’t even have that.

The only billionaire in the state of Alabama is an Auburn alum. Who is Alabama's uber wealthy alumni/boosters?

Well half their fanbase has no connection to the University of Alabama

That's why Saban quit. They don't have $20M for NIL but they signed off on a $69M buyout for DeSoftee?

Has nothing to do with what happened Saturday. What he says might be true but on paper Alabama is still one of the most talented teams in the country.

I have a hard time believing Bama has less money than LSU and we seem to be doing OK in NIL.
Just another excuse by Bama fans

It’s all fun and games until Texas, Ohio State and Michigan begin outbidding you and taking some of your best players. I sure was wishing Alabama still had Caleb Downs, Jaheim Oatis, Julian Sayin, Damon Payne, Elijah Pritchett and Justice Haynes on Saturday.

I linked it in another thread, but Bama was 12th in the nation for NIL money, at the start of last season. LSU was 7th.

But what about FSU? Their roster didn’t cost as much as bamas…

What’s the on3 talent rating for Alabama?

Gump Nation is on a complete nosedive.
Nobody deserves it more

Twenty big ones is the annual mascot budget to care for and transport Bevo to and from games at Texas.
Oklahoma will spend almost as much on the ponies and don't get me started on what it must cost LSU to keep that damn tiger fed.

Could be cheap. Just gotta let Texas pay to fatten up Mike's food a bit.

It was all fun and games when a Dodge Charger was more than Texas, Ohio State and Michigan were willing to put up.

You lost to a team that went 2-10 last year. Your NIL ain’t the problem, hombre. Your staff is charmin soft and not equipped for the SEC.

Are you sure? They spent $10 million in NIL this season on just their offensive line and quarterback.

I think most high profile P4 teams are around this number. Ohio State, Texas, and Oregon are the ones breaking the bank.
