As the CEO of any company the buck stops with Deboer. Do I think he’s a bad guy?.. no. Is he a great coach.. no. But I think based on Sabans history, and even Norvel with FSU, we need great assistants. Saban stopped “coaching” and did more managing several years ago. Getting Kiffin, Smart, Sark and others really propelled us tremendously. Most of those guys were good but not great at the time, but Saban saw something in them. It wasn’t all Nick

I think we need Shula type guys as a co offensive coordinator and QB coach, Jimbo Offensive coordinator, Gruden defensive coordinator type change, to get us back on Track.

Norvell did it with Gus. He knew he wasn’t a great coach, and so he went and got a great OC.

Get a few folks like that under the HC and the world is back to normal for Bama.

I’d kill for a Pruitt on staff right now.

Yeah, they need someone on that sideline to get up in the players faces to correct mistakes & motivate during the game. That seems to be nonexistent right now, the sideline was dead during the game.

I still think KDB is a good coach . I can take a loss but I just want to see more fire from him an accountability on the players . Hubbard ( who only played last year really under KDB) needs to be moved down the depth chart today and earn his snaps back. Jefferson the same . Put young ones in and take our lumps but you can’t let players feel entitled to their position . Worked under a coach who didn’t hold players accountable … doesn’t work . Bench is the greatest motivator

I mean it’s pretty simple.

We just need to get Smart as HC. Sark as OC and Pruitt as DC. Jeff Stoutland as OL Coach. Bo Davis as DL Coach. Curt Cignetti as WR coach. Scott Cochran as S&C.

The reason DeBoer believes he can out scheme everyone is because his entire staff is made up of his friends and they are all “yes men”.

Dude is soft as the team. He can right the ship by firing some folks on his staff.

That will/should happen before he gets canned.

i'm curious to see if kdb is a sylvester croom type who would rather get fired rather than do any firing? start with s&c and wommack, move freddie to lb's coach, his natural position.
