DeBoer took this job as a retirement plan. That’s all it is to him.

Dude has no fire because he doesn’t give a shite. He saw the money he could make even if he didn’t work hard and said “Hell yeah”.

A passionate coach would’ve still tried to create a legacy here, but look how fast DeBoer went running from what he “built” at Washington. Barely even a goodbye to those fans. He has no fire, which makes him the perfect candidate to just come in and frick us for the money.

Exactly. He and his buddy Grubb don’t want to be here really. Grubb left us at the altar twice and Karen begged him to come to Tuscaloosa.

We gave his great, great grandkids their retirement plans.

It's sickening.

...he built nothing at Washington. He had Penix, who coulda/shoulda won a Heisman or two, and two 1st round wide-outs. He isn't built for the South. You can tell by the way he squints and his hesitancy to get in a player's face.

I bet Deboer and his coaches only put in a fraction of time Saban and his staff put in. Hard to believe that we could have gotten worse than Bill Obrien and Golding but thanks to Bryne we did.

This is going to end up far worse than the fax campaign to hire Clappy Dubose. This might be the single worst hire in school history given what was at stake.

Yeah, we’re going to hit rock bottom before we can afford to buy him out unless there’s a fundraising campaign and some deep pockets cut some big checks.

I don't know that this was his intention - I doubt any competitor sets out to fail. But his demeanor is certainly nonchalant (this is why I call him "Andy Taylor") and he probably signed up knowing that if he failed, he would have a golden parachute. I don't think he is intending to fail. But he certainly isn't the killer we need on the sidelines.

Best case scenario is both parties come up with a number and split.

Andy woulda had these boys 1-0 and taught them a lesson about growing up in the process.

He’s got to know it isn’t working. Although that bit CBS reported about him thinking he can outscheme and outthink everyone shows a pretty healthy ego.
