We are stuck with Deboer for 3-4 years at least. Best hope we have is a job opens up he wants and we agree to nix the buyout.

Between his buyout, his staffs buyouts, the money to hire an elite coach and staff to replace him, the money we'd need to pony up to keep the whole team out of the portal, and the NIL money we'd need to rebuild the recruiting class after it falls apart we'd probably need over a 100 million dollars to fire DeBoer. We don't have close to that. It's not happening for several years at least.

I’m not ready to run off Deboer yet, but there needs to be a change on defense. I’m tired of watching these soft defenses playing on there heels. 3 man front defense is only successfully used when a team is up big and trying to keep the other offense from scoring quickly.

There are a significant number of posters on this board who would never want Dabo, and it's all just because of his personality. I couldn't care less about that.
He has kept Clemson in the national discussion every year for a long time. And unlike DeBoer, Dabo was actually in the playoffs last year.

It's wild too. Every time I'd probe why someone should be against Dabo, they brought up some obscured cheating theory from the early 2000s that wouldn't even be considered wrongdoing anymore LOL.

Just about any HC at a top tier college program and several coordinators at those programs would be an upgrade over this milquetoast coach we have now.
