He'd be stupid not to. Nothing bitchy about it, it's his job to give his team the best chances.

I hope so.
Players really like him. Theyll be up for this shite.

Just broke. Seems like a Dabo move. Now that he doesn’t have the sign stealer.

Trying to parse through all the threads on our board on this topic, here's what I think happened:
- player was ejected at the end of Houston's bowl game last year
- when ejected, it was announced on the field he was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct, the same appeared in the games official notes
- unsportsmanlike conduct alone does not constitute a suspension. If you're ejected for fighting, it carries a first half suspension the following game if it occurred in the 2nd half, like targeting.
- given the official notes from the game, neither LSU nor the SEC had any idea he was ejected for fighting, so no one thought a suspension was on the table
- apparently, somewhere down the line, Houston received a letter from the Big 12 that they had elevated the infraction to fighting. Houston never shared this letter with LSU after his transfer
- Clemson internet sleuths started reviewing game footage this week and reported he should be suspended.
- NCAA reviews it this week and confirms he was ejected for fighting 9 months after the game was played.

AJ Haulcy got ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct in Houston's last game.
Haulcy enters the portal.
Big 12 notifies UH that Haulcy's offense was upgraded to fighting, which carries a half game suspension. UH chooses to keep it a secret.
Haulcy transfers to LSU, earns starting job in camp.
Clemson starts watching film, decides to report Haulcy and another transfer who had a similar offense to see if they can get them kicked from the game. UH says "oh, we'll waddya know".
Haulcy is suspended 1st half, but the other guy is okay.
SOMEBODY knew about this for 9 months. Was it a final "frick you" from UH or just Dabo being a pussy?
I say we should play him anyway, but Kelly and Woody like to play nice with the NCAA.

So Hood is getting paid by Dabo without having him on staff.

In the original Louisianasports.net article, Hunt palmer states that an LSU spokesperson reported both transfer safeties for ejections in the 2nd half of their last games. Cooley didn't fight or targeting so he can play. Haulcy legit swung at a guy with a ref between them.

Yep Dabo and Clemson are complete snakes
What pussies

Dabo is a pussy, no doubt, but UH is the rat.
Willie Fritz is their head coach. He knew Haulcy would be ineligible for 1H, and you know he doesn't like LSU.

Tampering has its consequences.

UH is not a rat.
UH doesn't owe LSU any obligation, much less any favor, after LSU stole their all-conference safety.

Damn, how is y'all's backup safety? I have y'all in a PARLAY.

Haulcy transferred to a bigger and better program. If Houston doesn't like it, tough titty. Get good and quit bitching.
LSU just needs to FOIA any school it gets a transfer from in the future.
