We know Craig is a weapon, and if he's out I think it changes how Mizzou calls offensive plays once they cross the 50 yard line. In other words, I see us going for it on 4th down, any time the ball is between the 25-40 yard lines of the opponent. Will that mean more points, fewer pounts, or will it average out to be about the same?

Guess we're going to find out.

After watching the first half, I see Eli going all in with our guy Beau. Now that Craig is out, Eli's going to push him hard - basically the entire playbook is going to be opened up against Kansas.

I've been watching Mizzou football since the early 90's and if this O-Line can hold up, I see some *whispers* Chase Daniel in this guy.

What's the freshman's high school career FG percentage from 50 in?

50+ is always a crap shoot and a bonus when you get them.

I'm just glad we have another PK to turn to.

Craig was very important to Mizzou in 2024 because under Moore the offense wasn't coherent. They wasted possessions and stalled drives. Constantly wanting Cook to throw long back shoulder passes on 1st and second down, ignoring the TEs and throwing behind the LOS. If Moore can learn to attack a defense, and call an offense that keeps momentum, we should cut down the need of so many FG attempts. Successful, record setting kickers are often borne from mediocre offenses.

In his presser on 9/2/2025 Eli said Sam Horn is out indefinitely and that is all he will say about it for now.
