Dont you dare pretend like FSU is going to score 20 points

Gus has some surprises on the first drive, gets 3
They break a big play on a misread, gets 7
Make a long kick before halftime, get 3
Down 31-13 late score a TD, get to 20

I think that one is a toss up. I'm still not sure where the narrative that Clemson is all of a sudden peak Dabo era good again came from. They lost to South Carolina at home, squeaked by a good not great SMU and then lost a double digit game to Texas. They're good, but their offense was up and down all year and their greatest DL of all time was last in the ACC in run defense. They've got some stuff to prove.
LSU just has so many new parts, especially up front offense, and Nuss is gonna have to take a big step to win a game like this. Tough first game in a really loud place for all those new OL against a disruptive front with a QB who isn't known for his performance against constant pressure. Certainly possible, but a tough draw early.

agree with all of it
.
Its just insane to think we could lose 6 openers in a row.
Would be the first time since the university started playing football in 1893.

It is odd, especially in the more forgiving playoff era, but Clemson looks like a must win game for Kelly. LSU's schedule seems more back loaded this year and a couple of early losses could really spiral badly. Not to mention, y'all are a rightfully proud fan base. Nobody wants to lose the first game of the season for 6 years running.

Come on Bama. I want some blood here. Please wreck their season and recruiting class week 1. How about 48-3?

Yep, I haven't had that much confidence in a while. I think we will win handily.

I wouldn't say that much unless Georgia state is complete arse at defense. There's no reason why we would show our full offense against this opponent. This is one of those opponents where you want to run the ball a lot and run out the clock and keep your players from injury and keep your playbook under a cloak.

That is not going to be correct. Why is Auburn getting the win and not the must needed win for LSU and Kentucky?

If we score 34, I’m going to be entirely too confident about this season…

No no no no no. No.
FSU don't even say that. Don't do that. Don't do that to yourself.

zero faith in Baylor's defense. We'll see.
