The SEC talking heads have spoken after a week of interviews. Not surprisingly, they have picked Texas to win it all. They have also picked Georgia and Alabama to follow them. Those are safe picks, and media types rarely go out on limbs. When they do, they get major egg on their faces. Example: Desmond Howard a couple of years ago picking A & M to be one of the teams in the four-team playoff.

I'm not going out on a limb and disagree that Texas may have the inside track with its schedule and talent; but I will suggest the following teams are overrated/underrated.

Overrated: South Carolina, Florida, A & M.

Underrated: Vandy, Ole Miss, LSU. With these teams, QB play will be the difference.

Oh really? What makes you say it's underrated? Is it because no one thinks about you?

You should probably try to ballpark what you think the expectations for a team are before saying if they are over or underrated. I just mention it because I've seen Florida predictions all over the place.

The Florida roster is actually looking really good this season. Only suspect area is secondary depth, everything else is kind of exciting. Still coached by one William Hall Napier though. Everyone likes the man, but he really needs to think about winning some more games. If they underachieve it will be entirely on him. Mullen would likely put this team in the playoffs, but his goofy arse never could have built this roster.

If mizzou had a proven qb they would be top 4. It’s maybe the best team I’ve seen yet outside of the qb spot, but the QB spot is seems too wild

Mizzou's underrated.

If Beau's legit Mizzou is going to be pissing off hillbillies for another 12 months.

Our defense isn't even being talked about despite returning the second most production while cherry picking one of Georgia's best DLs (Zion Young) and Jeremiah Trotter's freshman All-American LB son, Josiah, out of the portal.

Let the tards keep sleeping on Missouri.

Are you 100 percent sure that Beau will be the starter?

Mizzou should have a good record, very soft schedule.

But the committee was saying other teams that Mizzou beat from last season will be better than Mizzou this coming season.

Is being ignorant funny? Aside from a weak attempt at humor, do you have anything to back up your opinion with?

Mizzou was ranked 12th in the preseason SEC poll, this after two consecutive 10+ win seasons. Yes, Mizzou lost the QB (who threw all of 11 TD passes last year) and a top WR and OL, but they went out and got high quality replacements in the portal, as Mizzou does, (#7 rated portal class).

#12 in the SEC is way too low for this Mizzou team, hence they are underrated. Not the least bit funny.

You didn't ask me, but I will chime in. I'm not sure that he will be at all. I just recently read that Drinkwitz said the Horn had the slight edge coming out of the Spring.
