This is not a troll, announced through a system wide email for the company today.

How is this board going to cope knowing our new arena will be built through blood money?

In a few minutes, you will read in the news that Our Lady of the Lake Health has been in negotiations to be the naming rights sponsor of the new arena on LSU’s campus. This is a generational project for the Baton Rouge community and economy. Clinical care, economics, and social circumstances all contribute to the health and vibrancy of our region. While no formal agreement has been reached, we have been in discussions as a potential anchor investor for this project. As LSU’s Championship Healthcare Partner and the healthcare leader in the capital region, we are always looking for ways to invest into our community in meaningful ways that will help stimulate economic growth and ultimately create healthier, more vibrant communities. We hoped to celebrate with a large planned announcement after the agreement was finalized and the LSU Board gave final approval to the project. However, due to a public records request, the news leaked sooner than we would have preferred. We wanted you to hear it from us first. We’ll have more details as things develop in the coming weeks. For over 100 years, we've supported the Gulf region beyond exceptional healthcare delivery in ways that make a significant difference in the communities we serve. This initiative is another example of that commitment, and we look forward to working together to make this exciting vision a reality.

Y’all were taking the money either way.

At least this way the hospital gets some advertising out of it.

Does make you look poor though.

The Rant will probably also enjoy knowing the chosen developer for the arena has just been indicted for alleged bid rigging on Texas's arena.

Well, I guess it's time to burn down their old stadium and build a new billion dollar Tabasco Hot Sauce stadium. lol

You know they are going to sell out...

Wow! Sounds cool and much nicer than anything Georgia will have, even though all of our stadiums are oddly nicer already despite being so poor

Yet I was just told in a recent thread that Gamecocks must be poor because we had a insurance company sponsored our basketball arena.

So now lsu is using a sponsor AND selling ads on their football uniforms...I think we know who the poor is.

And even better the OP is the one that stated this

quote:

You literally have two of your three primary stadiums named after an insurance company and a bank. I couldn’t think of a bigger poverty move than that ?

Tigerbait2010 I recommend a mustard base bbq sauce for your foot.

Will any LSU fans ever actually see the inside of the arena?
