Don't shoot the messenger. I asked ChatGPT to rank the little brother programs in the SEC and this is what it spit out. This should end well.

1. Texas A&M
Big Brother: Texas
Texas A&M’s identity has long been defined by its rivalry with Texas. From constantly referencing past clashes to fervent game-day traditions (and, historically, even elaborate pre-game protests), the Aggies have built their season around opposing Texas, making their commitment and obsession truly top-tier.

2. Auburn
Big Brother: Alabama
For Auburn fans, every day is an Iron Bowl day. The way they track every Alabama result and make their national identity pivot around the outcome of that rivalry speaks volumes about their constant, almost all-consuming obsession.

3. Mississippi State
Big Brother: Ole Miss
In-state pride runs high for Mississippi State fans. Every season is viewed through the prism of the Egg Bowl, and the frustration (or determination) stemming from the rivalry with Ole Miss fuels nearly every season’s narrative.

4. Tennessee
Big Brother: Alabama and Georgia (in recent years)
Historically a powerhouse, Tennessee’s diminished role in the national spotlight only sharpens its focus on what they view as lost glories. The Vols’ obsession—manifest in off-season rants and memories of past triumphs against modern juggernauts—is quite evident among the fanbase.

5. Ole Miss
Big Brother: LSU or Alabama (depending on context)
Ole Miss fans often set themselves up as the underdog aristocrats. Their constant comparisons—whether bragging about beating a top team once every few years or lamenting perennial underachievement—shows a steady, if not explosive, obsession with the top-tier programs they measure themselves against.

6. Arkansas
Big Brother: Texas
Even though Arkansas and Texas rarely clash directly nowadays, Razorback fans still harbor an intense, almost nostalgic grudge. Their fervor is heightened every time Texas is mentioned, keeping that rivalry alive in memory and sentiment.

7. Kentucky (Football)
Big Brother: Tennessee
While Kentucky’s basketball fandom is world-renowned, its football fans still channel some obsession into rivalries with Tennessee. However, this passion is somewhat compartmentalized behind the greater focus on hoops—so it’s there, but not as overwhelming as others.

8. South Carolina
Big Brother: Clemson
The Gamecock fans’ disdain for Clemson is a central part of their identity. However, it mostly comes to the forefront during rivalry week. Outside of those intense matchups, the obsession cools down into more periodic expressions of bitterness rather than an ongoing narrative.

9. Vanderbilt
Big Brother: Primarily Tennessee (by association with the region)
Academically elite and athletically modest, Vanderbilt’s fanbase is less consumed by rivalry fire. Their approach is more subdued—acknowledging the differences without the day-to-day obsession that defines true heated rivalries.

10. Missouri
Big Brother: N/A
Since joining the SEC without a traditional in-state “big brother” rivalry to fixate on, Missouri’s fanbase rarely hones in on one nemesis. Their lack of a dedicated adversary leaves little room for the type of obsessive behavior seen elsewhere.

The Tennessee atheltetic department has owned alabama this decade. Winning record across big 3 sports. Not sure how they can be big brother right now. No SEC team has more wins against Bama this decade in football. Baseball is a bloodbath. Basketball 4 game win streak

If we are just talking football then its easily UGA. Kirby has heupels offense in a chokehold

You must be a little slow. I said SEC programs. Sorry if that hurt your feelings. It's not my list. Personally I think we are every bit as obsessed with A&M as they are us.

It wasn't my list. It's chatgpt. I just wanted to see how it would rank them on that question. Not saying I agree with it.

1a. Texas
Big Brother: Dildos
Texas’ struggle to stay "Texan" came under threat when students, alumni, and fans staged rallies protesting the Second Amendment. As has happened on many occasions in Austin, common sense departed and Longhorns gathered on campus pleading with people to trade in their firearms for dildos. A large dildo has been kept in a trophy case commemorating this "victory". To this day, no one can explain the connection between dildos and firearms.

Texas generated more revenue than the rest of the SEC this past year

So, using your logic, every sec school is little brother to Texas?

Not sure I’d agree with that, but we appreciate the compliment!

The program listing Alabama as one of ours shows me AI still can’t do everything

Bama has historically dominated every SEC program. I think the argument could be made that, given the fact Tennessee has had the most success against Bama of every program, that they can't be "little brother." If you want to call being the winningest football program against Bama being "little brother," then literally every program is too lol

Glad to see AI isn't always right yet
