Since 2008 Bama has dominated that part of the state. Once upon a time Bama had no chance to get kids out of Alex City. From Alex City over to Columbus GA down to Pensacola and over to Dothan was Auburn country. Not anymore. Deboer is doing a great job.

Stellar get, thought we had a little shot there, but DeBoer put the fence up and decided not, big boy recruiting. Meanwhile, we're about to lose YET ANOTHER in state 5 star to an out of state rival, even though we were seemingly trending for him the whole time. Ridiculous.

He’s from Alex City. Can’t remember Bama ever pulling a kid from there. It’s literally 39 miles from Auburn.

I can remember Auburn landing Malcolm Simmons, Eltoro Freeman and Erik Brock from there and that dates back roughly 20 years or more.
It’s still a shame Terrell Owens got overlooked.
In fact, is CD Morgan the only 5* to ever come out of BR? I’m 99% sure that’s true.
