Since we’re doing it in baseball. Why not tier rank the Women’s basketball programs historically?

The Standard

- Tennessee

Greatness

- Mississippi State
- Georgia
- Auburn
- LSU

Good

- Texas A&M
- Ole Miss
- Oklahoma
- Texas

Average

- Oklahoma
- South Carolina
- Mizzou
- Vandy
- Kentucky

Trash

- Florida
- Alabama

There’s no way y’all can hate on this. Tennessee is the standard of WBB. RIP Pat.

What’s wrong with this list? I even put LSU in great. Tennessee is the standard of WBB. Second to UConn historically. First in the SEC.

Nothing is wrong with this. LSU has a great WBB program. Tennessee is the standard though.

Tennessee womens basketball is in the same position as LSU baseball post Bertman. Yall are looking for your own Jay Johnson to resurrect the program. Is Caldwell the right person for the job?

Tennessee is still the standard of Women’s Basketball. LSU has been the best team in the SEC the past 10 years for sure, but they’re not catching up to Tennessee anytime soon.

SEC WBB has been tops in the nation since the start from top to bottom. Some programs ebb and flow with time but overall they have cred.

Gators is the puzzler. Have had all the parts, just never seemed to be the program. Just tough when the East was the Beast. Without Pat, how many could Andy have won?

You are wrong. South Carolina has been the best SEC team for the last 15 years. But they will never catch Tennessee all time

Surely Alabama’s womens team should be higher. Program actually has a final four appearance. And has been good lately.

I’ve started this for WBB but haven’t gotten past the SEC. Here’s how just the SEC shakes out in my model:

1. Tennessee- 353
2. S. Carolina-137.5
3. Georgia- 132
4. LSU- 129
5. Texas- 119
6. Auburn- 79
7. Vanderbilt- 76.5
8. Oklahoma- 64.5
9. Texas A&M- 57
10. Ole Miss- 56.5
11. Miss St- 46.5
12. Kentucky- 42.5
13. Alabama- 36
14. Arkansas- 31
15. Florida- 25.5
16. Missouri- 19

That’s not saying much. Ole Miss, Kentucky, Florida, and Mizzou are the only SEC programs without a Final Four appearance. Half the league has multiple Final Fours.
