This is why I love CFB. We all know that list will be blown up by Week 3.

Texas plays the bottom six on the list.

I could definitely see it going that way. I think it's way more likely than a lot of our fans think it is. We still have a terrible coach. The roster doesn't seem that much better than last year and we are very thin at both DL and in the secondary.

I think 5-7/6-6 is way more likely than the 9-3/10-2 that many Gator fans are expecting.

We're a Lagway injury away from going 3-9. He has a nagging shoulder injury, so it wouldn't take much.

Bye bye Napier if that happens.

Hard to argue with. It has A&M's average at 8-4 so their formula definitely checks out.

My pessimistic outlook is based on UF going 7-5 with a historically bad FSU on the schedule last year, and getting the good fortune of having LSU and Ole Miss at home in back to back weeks.

As tough as last year's schedule is, I think this year will be tougher. Plus the expectations are high, and any bad momentum this year will be harder to overcome than last year where expectations were low and any semblance of competency was praised.

I don't think FSU will be good this year, but am hard pressed to see them as bad as they were last year.

Lagway is a great kid with tremendous upside, but I think overhyped at this point. He may be what he's being hyped to be someday, but with this coaching staff and OC and his lack of experience, I am not seeing him being a savior or Heisman candidate that some UF fans and the media are hyping him to be in 2025.

Agree.

If it weren't for the fact that Lebby just became a HC for the first time last year, Napier would by far be the worst HC in the SEC.

Texas going 10-1 after losing the first game to Ohio State would be impressive.

When evaluating SOS, it is always weird to me that people pay so much attention to a team's easier games. If you swaped out UF and MIss State for Missouri and Auburn, it doesn't matter, because Texas is still winning those games.

I place a lot more emphasis on a team's most difficult opponents. Texas plays Ohio State on the road, UGA on the road and OU on a neutral field. That is why Texas has one of, if not the most, difficult schedule in the country.

Cowbell below Vandy?

Damn.

We’ll probably be one of those 3.

If LSU goes 8-4, and it's business as usual, the rant will quickly see if that monstrous head coach contract has tied their hands and made them too poor to demand excellence.
