I don't have an issue with it, it's a game after all and they're playing at the pinnacle of the sport they've devoted their lives to. Enjoying the moment and all that, this is the greatest height they've reached in a lifetime of baseball as individuals. Some will go on to play in the bigs, but for most of them this is THE top of their career and will remain that for the rest of their lives
On top of that, a wise man once told me at work "fake it til you make it" when it comes to working day in and day out and staying happy and content at the grind. If you force yourself to be happy and smiling even at a dead end job you hate, eventually it'll become reality
