DVH credited the catcher Helfrick for calling the pitches and helping wood to pitch no hitter. Hogs let catcher call the pitch which is old school unusual

A 4 seed that won on the road in a regional and then went on the road to win a super regional. No shame in their game. They should be proud of what all they have done this year.

That’s even more impressive. A college catcher trusted to call pitches and call the game of his life while the pitcher throwing the game of his life….. when he hit the guy it was a let down. Our entire break room was watching on my phone rooting for him.
