Absolutely this. Root’s a damn good pitcher who just didn’t have it unfortunately. Van Horn made the right move, and it wasn’t an easy one. Props to him for that. That move kept LSU in check from then on. Kade’s an MLB pitcher who was on. It was a great baseball game that both teams should be proud of.
I have no doubt we’ll see Arkansas again, and I really hope it’s another good one!

Unfortunately not everyone loves baseball like they do football and they feel the need to let everyone know it.

I believe that both fanbases have a mutual respect for one another’s baseball programs. I can’t think of another school in the SEC that I can say that about.

LSU has a great baseball team with a long history of excellence. Their baseball fanbase is knowledgeable and understands that baseball is a fickle game. The results of last night’s game could easily have been reversed. Anderson is a stud, Root is a stud. Root had a bad inning and that made the difference in the game,

Actually LSU and State fans have had mutual respect for each other for decades. Great rivalry between the teams but in my opinion the fans have always been friendly to each other and appreciative of the players on both sides. Ben McDonald has always been complimentary to State over the years and Jim Ellis was the same towards LSU as the Diamond Dawg radio announcer for some 45 years.
