To be fair, unlike lsu, our shots were probably bought by people who are actually there in Omaha. Phone ins are for pussies…..

I hope for your sake you’re right. I was expecting a close to neutral crowd tomorrow night, but judging by this, it looks like it will be a homefield advantage for LSU.

Yep. It's great if you want to donate to a good cause but to do it to pad your team's fans numbers is stupid. This "challenge" use to be fun to follow before the phone in orders started coming in. If I was the owner, I'd gladly accept the donations but wouldn't count them towards the challenge. Sad thing about that is then the donations would go down because the "fluffers" would quit calling them in.

Agreed. The whole "challenge" has still lost its luster. A true challenge would be to, each year, name a few good charities and strictly ask for donations to them. That would be a much better challenge board IMO

I’m sure it helped him get well after the Covid year but he has given alot of it to charities so he’s not hoarding it. Seems like good people.

He literally had a meeting yesterday with our big donors to coordinate their shot purchases for this year because of a legal issue last year. He is definitely laughing his arse off at those rich idiots.

This should be a charitable donation at this point as opposed to an actual challenge. The legitimacy of it left years back.
