When he was describing the lack of wind, he said if you notice “that” flag was not moving. He should have said “the” flag. He I’m sure inadvertently misspoke. Respect our American flag.

The flag flies because of what the bravest of men did on this day 81 years ago. Never forget

Really? I’m as conservative as they come, but is this where we are? Your pussy hurts over verbiage? We’re all soft.

And what happened 83 years ago that most people completely forgot about. Battle of Midway, June 3-6, 1942. We were getting abused by the Japanese during the first few months of the war. At the Coral Sea, we were able to fight them to a draw. But Midway abruptly changed everything. Japan lost 4 aircraft carriers and hundreds of her best pilots along with the aircraft. That battle saved an additional unknown thousands of US soldiers, airmen and sailors as it shortened a war that would have lasted much longer otherwise.
Never forget those brave air crews, sailors and others who lost their lives during those four days either.

With the way people talk, some say “the” as “thuh” which can sound like “that”.

The Army turns 250 years old next week. Hope to see some new flags posted on homes and either taken in or well lit at night. 'MURICA!
