Freeze QBs are going to throw INTs…just an occupational hazard in his system. Other QBs in the SEC as well, but his are definitely always on the higher end every year. Gotta hope Durkin’s D will ratchet up the takeaway numbers this year.

Freeze's defense had always relied on sacks, turnover numbers in his successful years. He has to have great edge rushers and safeties. I like where he is heading at safety.

As for offensive turnovers... that's something to brace for.

Yea, any system where botht he QB and WR are reading coverages and can make adjustments to what they see, is going to have potentially more INT's. Anytime you increase the opportunity for people to not be on the same page, it is a risk you play. Upside being you can adapt any play in live time to take advantage of what a defense is doing. Just have to have players that understand the system and read things similarly, which increases with time playing together.

INTs are back breakers, but we really need our QB to have 25+ TDs this year. If we do that and keep INTs at 13>, I think its a successful season.

It is also where the INT's occur. Thorne had so many INT's that took place on our side of the field. No INT is a good INT, but if it does happen on the opponent's side of the field, it is a little more manageable to deal with.

2/1 ratio you can win with. You need a 3/1 ratio with 3000+ yards to enter “championship” level under an RPO offense. Plus and this is the what separates the elite passing teams is being able to run when you want to or need to. Every 3rd and 2 you can’t just throw you better run it 70ish percent of the time and pick it up 50%+

Reminds me of the end of the 2013 AU Miss game when Freeze's QB and receiver were repeatedly read it wrong. No INT, but flubbed away their downs.
