It's not D1 or SEC but nonetheless impressive

Do they have some legit players, feasting on inferior (NAIA) competition, or both?

I would be surprised if anyone outside of Louisiana knew anything about LSU-Shreveport baseball.

BigBro, UTrans' #1 poster on this LSU website, swears that we're the same person. He even spent an entire day trying to prove it

Did you hurt his feelings with irrefutable facts, too?

Yeah man, during my off time, I swing over to my UTrans and UGA alters just to keep everyone guessing.

According to the Alabama fan, 3guys10cups, WilliamTaylor has a UTrans alter too!

I guess great posters just come in pairs!

I looked at their roster a couple weeks back. Guys are from everywhere and all transferred in from other universities and Jucos.

Coach has a 211 - 49 record at LSUS since 2020.

Results are listed in a calendar format, so I didn't see that they got above playing NAIA teams this season. Didn't see any early season visits to Northwestern St., SFA, or up to face DII teams like SAU, Henderson St. or Ouachita Baptist.

The same applies to Aggie football outside of Texas. The Longhorns are the biggest brand and best program by far.

That's almost as impressive as starting 0-24!

It used to be that some of these smaller Louisiana schools got recommendations for some players that LSU was looking at. They sent players to some of these schools to see if they developed! Too later to be picked up by the Tigers.

I talked to a D2 college coach about them. Basically a lot of guys waiting in the wings for LSU roster spot to open, and a lot of really good players that came in from D1 schools. Quite the success story. Don't be surprised if some of the young guys end up at LSU.
