Yeah it’s called a rebuild, plenty of coaches inherited poor rosters (hence why Herman was fired) and turn them around getting better every year.

Yep. Should’ve taken the free publicity. It’s not like a rumor that Texas pays well for recruits will scare recruits away.

Exactly.
Texas wanted nothiing to do with the cheating in the SEC. One month to the day after the SCOTUS decision, news breaks that Texas will join the SEC. Why? Because everyone will be on a level playing field.
