Even if they miss the NCAA tourney?

I think their season ends Earley tomorrow after LSU beats them down.

IDK those aggies are trigger happy when it comes to firing
Guess we will have to wait and see

Who would want to come coach at Aggie if they’re firing young coaches after one year? And not because of off-the-field reasons.

I’ve heard Heefner from Dallas Baptist O’Connor from UVA and Vaughn from Bama

Don’t like that one bit.

Don’t shoot the messenger but they could’ve had Vaughn when Schloss left. I think they could hire him now if they wanted him.

Taking the pre-season #1 to not even making a regional is a firable offense. We should not be paying a coach to learn on the job.

I don’t doubt it. It’s concerning for sure.

But that’s exactly what you guys did.

Word was they will keep him and he will get rid of the assistants. That buyout is high with him and they are already spending a bunch on coaches not coaches. We all saw the graph last week

This is why you don’t let players dictate coaching hires.
Just hire the best person you can and deal with the transfer/recruit attrition.

No kidding. Acting like a guy like Rob Vaughn couldn’t keep the meat of that roster together is just dumb. I feel like that was a made up excuse.

They can't afford to fire Earley and pay a new coach that will have leverage on aggy. aggy is still broke. Jimbo is still on direct deposit.

It’s not like there is an expectation of winning a championship at A&M

Not saying I agree or disagree, but there’s not a chance in hell Michael Earley is fired.
He took over an emotionally challenging situation after the Schloss exit. And the Ags have been absolutely decimated, injury-wise (lost pitching ace Shane Sdao, and their biggest bats in Gavin Grahovac, Caden Sorrell, and Jace LaViolette).
Not to mention, his players would walk through fire for him. He’s not going anywhere.
