What does liberal have to do with it? Texas baseball has been coasting along with good fortune and we realize that. Until this weekend it all came crashing down.

Most Texas fans know we aren’t as good as we’d been looking but why not enjoy the ride. Arkansas in my mind is the creme of the SEC and I stated this back when everyone was still bowing to Tenner.

I expect Schloss to put together a juggernaut however, so Texas being 3-5 games in first place is a foreshadow of standard baseball life in the SEC. Might as well get used to that part.

Texas will be competitive in football. Texas will flat out OWN this conference in baseball. May as well wrap your head around that one.

Sorry boy, but LSU will own the SEC in baseball and if they don’t Tenner, State, Ole Miss, Vandy or some other school does. The SEC has won 6 of the last 7 CWS and 5 in a row with 5 different teams. 10 SEC teams have won a title since Texas has 20+ years ago.

I’m comfortable with Bama being average in baseball by consistently being a top 25 team or even a top 15 team.

Texas will be competitive in baseball by shear talent in Texas HS baseball, but you will not own the SEC, in any sport.
