Are there any Texas AM grads still alive that saw the 1939 NC team play? I SAY NO.

To have been a grad and saw them play at minimum you would have need to have been born in 1917 which makes you 108 now.
Proves the fact oil money = idiots when it comes to football.

This classic never gets old. Come up with your own shite. You're saying the same shite that he said.

Some could have seen them play as a child in 1939 and then graduated from A&M 20 years later...they would be in their 90s.

Well we could be Ole Miss, who spends more than the oil money and has no championships that are actually recognized.

As a kid who was born in the early ‘80s, I remember thinking how ancient Auburn’s 1957 title seemed at the time.
And yet for my 3rd grade self in 1990, that title was just 33 years prior at the time. It’s getting close to the same gap between Tennessee’s 1998 title and the present day.
I’m sure there is someone alive who was born in 1930 and remembers the A&M national title, but you can probably count the number of those people on one hand.

We are only 17 seasons away from Texas A&M’s title being closer in time to the battle of the Alamo than to the present day.

Preparations are underway for their 100 year anniversary in 2039.
Medicine and technology have come a long way to where there will be at least three or four alive in that year.

Yep.
That’s an aggy-produced video, for sure.
“The aggy footballers were rugged, rough and rangy. They had big forearms and ham hands”.
Only thing I found out of place for aggy was a man kissing a woman.
But it was just a movie that was popular at the time.

You said that yes but in the subject you said the other thing

I'm all for trolling. But I would like to have a serious football discussion about the 2025 season for all SEC teams and where they stand after spring. Like Ole Miss for example. How will they look on offense? Does Ole Miss have depth on the Dline etc.

All I am sure about is that no one still to be born.,, will EVER see Ole Miss win a NC in football.

What the frick did we do to your team to get into your headspace like this? LOL

Ole Miss is trying to start a rivalry like Mizzou did with Arkansas, trying to use their recent football success for that is kind of embarrassing.
We don’t care.

You’d be the authority on “trying to start” rivalries.
We can take this to the bank.
