CBS was more meaningful but ESPN's scheduling made watching different football games in one day more manageable.

Have that as a ringtone on my phone for certain callers. That intro was the first thing I thought of when I heard we were headed to the SEC.

I disagree. CBS was only the 1 game and ABC is basically doing 3 SEC games a day in 2024 with a few exceptions.
Hopefully ABC keeps doing that.

I refuse to give Disney money for anything, but ABC is free.
I don't watch any games on ESPN unless they put the all-22/skycam on feed for free.

I just like SEC Network+. Between ABC, ESPN, SECN, and all the streaming options, you can watch damn near every single sporting event for your chosen school. CBS couldn't offer that.

I'm also glad not to ever have to hear Verne & Gary every week either. If Jefferson Pilot was later than 11am, Dave Neal would have been the GOAT.

I wouldn’t even say ABC ESPN is fine.
It’s ranked at bottom of production quality compared to CBS, NBC and Fox
