Two grand slams to walk it off in Aggieland, certainly didn’t see that coming. With the sweep and improved hitting maybe the Ags have a shot at the post season

I’d say that the odds should be

1 in 725000

Makes sense. ;)

It’s a rare feat, no matter how you slice it.

Being an Aggie baseball fan has been torturous this season … much like being an Aggie sports fan is every year. The pain is pretty much a given.

A&M has always been capable of both winning in spectacular fashion and losing in spectacular fashion.

Bear Harrison swings a good bat for catcher.

Well from an MLB perspective, I watched one player, Cardinal 3rd baseman Fernando Tatis Sr. hit two grand slams in one inning against the Dodgers. The only player in the MLB ever to do so. Not sure the odds on that.

Friday April 23 1999, wife and I returned from dinner out, switched on the tube just in time to see Fernando get his first GS of the inning. Great to see! Kept watching. He gets back to the plate same inning with bases loaded. Goes yard again! Announcer says, “that’s gotta be a record”. Ya, ya think? Probably Shannon!
