When a kid leaves his school because he's only getting 2.4 million per year for 4 years...

I'm enjoying the UFL. Maybe it's because Stl has a decent team, but it's not a bad product and you get really great access to some of the coaching and officiating in the telecasts.

I imagine if Tennessee thought he was worth 4 million a year they would have happily paid.

Miami started this by throwing 4 million at Carson Beck after a mediocre year. And now with the shackles removed for "pay for play" the money will get higher faster. College will need unions, revenue sharing and collective bargaining or schools like Texas and Notre Dame will dominate in Pay for play. Unleashing that Texas money on college football would be crazy.

College football is on life support for many and well frick pro sports all together. The last pro sport I watched was golf.......about 4 yrs ago.

Now if they would let random guys at difference bars call the games I could come back.

I would have never thought this would happen to college football but it's got that NBA trajectory in terms of popularity decline on the horizon. Too much player empowerment and with players opting out in the middle of games, renegotiating contracts, or even simply opting out of bowl games - we just get an awful product.

I actually think they would have paid or paid close to that if he SHOWED UP TO PRACTICE and communicated with Heupel.

Nico may have learned the "not communicating thing" from Heupel when he abandons his current team for another team.

I'll tell you what Howard, if that fricker would have stayed in bounds he would have gotten down to the Case-IH Redasszone, before being popped off his feet.
