Uhh, no. Auburn’s only other final 4 was in 2019. That was 6 tournaments back.

There was no tournament in 2020 you member Covid? Probably not since you were fricking your cousin in a single wide.
ETA if there was a tourney in 2020 AU was likely in the final 4 that season as well

Actually it's 4 Sweet 16s, 2 Elite 8s, and 1 Final 4 in the last 5 NCAA tournaments (2021 thru 2025).

We didn’t make the tourney in 21, so 2 final 4s in the last five trips to,the tourne if you want to be uber literal. . That’s at least 1 more time than Bama in the same span, not to mention school history.

Maybe but I can count to 2 which is 1 more Final 4 than Bama has. Think about it Alabama has the same number of Final 4s as Homicides committed by their team.

Should Bama include an asterisk on their sweet 16 banner since they lost that round as the number one overall team?
That team executed a young mother for starters.
Secondly, as the overall number one team playing the first weekend in Birmingham they had a clear path to the title. They had players with a killer shot, and an enviable path to the F4 at the very least
Instead San Diego State took their lunch money as soon as they were forced to step away from Birmingham.
Now, that is a letdown!
