Tourney should start putting two brackets at the same Sweet 16 site...

Don't know why they don't do Thursday/Saturday and Friday/Sunday for the Sweet 16 Elite Eight at the same site for two brackets.
No reason Texas Tech Florida Arkansas and Maryland all had to go to San Francisco to play the 2nd weekend.
Would help with crowds.
Imagine if those games last night would have been in Atlanta.

Why would you ever expect the NCAA to ever do anything that made any sense?

Flights, hotel costs, and ticket prices would suck even worse. No thanks

1. You’d only have two sites.
2. The real problem with San Fran (and the lack of crowd) is that no west coast teams were seeded to play there.

What Id like to see is starting the games at a reasonable time. This after midnight bullshite in the Eastern time zone needs to end. People have jobs and can’t watch all of the late games.

NCAA could care less about convenience
It's all about tv money

WBB in college does that, having only TWO Regional sites with two brackets playing at each site. This is the second year WBB has done that. In 2025, the two sites are Birmingham and Spokane, WA.
I do not like doing that and I hope MBB does NOT go to the two-site method. It makes it harder and more expensive for both the schools and the fans.
As an aside, Spokane is a TERRIBLE choice as some teams have to stay 50-60 miles away from the arena as Spokane simply does not have enough nice hotels.

Because there are four different regions.
