No, but purely because of the fact that he's an Arkansas boy.
DVH-Bianco is the most played rivalry in the history of the SEC. The series passed Polk-Bertman a few years back. One of the most fun series to attend in person that you can go to.

it’s a black mark on his legacy no doubt, but the guy can coach.. and he has a 7-2 record in SR, which is pretty damn good too..
Ole Miss found some 4 leaf clovers in 2022.. they were lucky to get in.. and they were also lucky that the dominant team that year got upset in the SR.
It’s part of the game and counts just the same, but it isn’t usually that simple to win it all.

It usually happens when you least expect it. Bianco won it when no one expected it from Ole Miss. State won it when everyone expected Arkansas to win it with Kevin Kopps.
If Arkansas does win it then I wouldn't be surprised if Wes Johnson would win it but that is if he takes the job once DVH retires.

Dave took Nebraska to their first 2 CWS in history then came to Arkansas to coach when Norm DeBriyn retired. He played baseball here. Great hire.

I’m very bullish on the Dawgs this year.
I went through their schedule today and came up with 25-5. I had Tennessee at 24-6. I think I had y’all at 21-9.
Georgia’s going to get a National Seed imo, maybe #1.
