Look what he's doing at McNeese. He brought LSU back from the grave. Dude was so damn young (34 when he took the LSU job) and accomplished a good bit in a short period of time at while at the helm. That's the type of coach you lock down (young and hungry), but Woodward is a massive idiot who thought it was a good idea to get rid of him. He needs to learn from the Kansas AD on how to tell the NCAA to go pound sand. But it's too late now. NC State see's what they've got.

The difference is the NCAA would've given you the Louisville treatment, not the Kansas treatment because you're LSU.
It sucks, but easy to say in hindsight with the way they enforce things.

No they wouldn’t have. The NCAA has been powerless for well over 10 years. We were on the cusp of NIL and pay for play. The ncaa wouldn’t have done jack shite to LSU.

You can’t reason with 99% of lsu fans on this. They think will wade is God, and can’t admit he was a complete dumb frick that got caught committing felony fraud while at LSU and lied to the AD about it.

Most of us think Wade was very careless just like Bill Self was. But… we also believe the FBI had no business being involved trying to entrap a low level shoe salesman. The whole case was BS.
The only difference between Wade and Self is Kansas stood behind Self and LSU didn’t stand behind Wade.
And… Wade was never charged with felony fraud. Ever.

FBI wasn’t after Wade, we fired him out of fear, but the fans from lsu, mostly baseball ones, never read the NOA and just assume cause they are mindless idiots l, to be fair, they probably can’t interpret what they are actually reading anyway ?????. So instead they just ramble off like a tard, “He cheated, he was paying players.” I really hope these people did not receive a LSU education cause that may make us the dumbest school in the sec

Oh, I know. The FBI was looking into low level middleman shoe salesman Christian Dawkins. A nobody trying to peddle shoes and paying off high school players.
The FBI only had Will Wade on tape saying he made a “strong arse offer”. That’s it. No clarification on who or what that strong arse offer was. Then.. we all were told it was for Javonte Smart, who was completely cleared by the NCAA to play.
The NCAA was on total shambles at the time reeling from losing court case after court case on NiL. Shortly after LSU fired Wade, the courts said anyone could pay any player anything they wanted and there was nothing the ncaa could do about it.
The fbi decided planting agents in Washington DC acting like Trump supporters on Jan 6th was more important and moved on.
