It’s like Mark and Johnson were playing two different offenses for Texas..

They didn’t co-exist together just from the few games I watched of them in the SEC tourney and tonight

It seemed like the Rodney Terry "coaching" in the 2nd half, was ", Hey, let's just take turns shooting the ball."

Having one guy work the ball inside, while the other 4 stand and watch, and when the defense collapses on the ball in the shadow of the rim (Surprise! Surprise!), throw up a prayer shot and hope it goes in.

The unstoppable 1st half offense compared to the last 5 minutes of the game was everything you need to know about Rodney Terry.

What a waste of the talent he had.

Yeah it was so odd watching that last night. There were some Texas offensive possessions that were beautiful with the ball movement and spacing. Just textbook college offense.

Then, it's like they and the coach, forgot they could run/call actual plays and just started hucking up bad threes late in the clock. Just a total headscratcher as to where the gameplan went in the last part of the game.

Because Terry sucks as a coach and doesn't know how to run an offense.

Mark was terrible. His talent level is much lower than he thinks it is.

I thought Mark did okay. Johnson and Sheddrick as well and Weaver weavered.

the rest not so much.

The focus of getting Johnson or Mark points, was giving a pass for Pope & Weaver to not have to be productive. Pope and Weaver should have had 10 points each. Btw, that’s basically running an offense with 3 PG’s, one SF and a C.
